Munich, July 22, 2022 – With the acquisition of Sacher GmbH, Ramboll is expanding its building construction business in Germany. The company, based in Munich and Berlin, brings expertise in structural engineering and fire protection.
The Transaction
Sacher offers services in accordance with HOAI for new buildings, revitalizations or conversions, develops complex structural solutions and carries out risk and cost assessments for real estate projects. Sacher implemented these services for the Hotel Vier Jahreszeiten Kempinski in Munich and the FSG Airport in Stuttgart, among others.
In Ramboll’s Building Construction business unit, around 4,000 experts plan projects covering more than 10 million square meters worldwide every year. In total, Ramboll has already been involved in over 10,000 building construction projects. In Scandinavia in particular, Ramboll holds a strong market position in the field of building construction.
