Proventis Partners advised RepRap

Proventis Partners advised the shareholders of German RepRap on the sale of the company to ARBURG, one of the world’s leading manufacturers of plastic injection moulding machines and automation solutions.

German RepRap GmbH, founded in 2010, develops and sells 3D printers based on RepRap technology. Its customers include major industrial companies worldwide in a variety of industries, including automotive, aerospace, medical, art and fashion.

Arburg, a German family-owned company, is one of the world’s leading manufacturers of machinery for plastics processing and has around 3,200 employees at 34 locations in 26 countries.

In the transaction, Proventis Partners was responsible for the overall management of the project: this included process strategy development, equity story development, preparation of documentation, approaching potential investors as well as coordinating the due diligence process and leading the contract negotiations.
