Martin Evans is one of Europe’s most highly regarded and experienced equity analysts with 40 years tenure covering the European and global chemical industry. He has worked for major investment banks including HSBC and JPMorgan and has benefited from a high level of continuous interaction with fund managers including hedge funds and pension funds, along with regular contact at CEO and CFO level at all the major European and UK chemical companies. He has worked on fundings, rights issues and IPOs and has regularly roadshowed C Suite teams within the European chemical industry overseas visiting existing and potential new investors. He has an acute understanding of the chemical industry within global stock markets, an historic appreciation of cycles and valuation levels, and of current investor themes and preferences. He has an MA from Oxford University in Literae Humaniores.
