Proventis Partners advised the BOETTGER GROUP

Kaltenkirchen, January 24, 2024 – The BOETTGER GROUP, which also includes the well-known traditional brand Cavendish & Harvey, is taking over Jahnke Süßwaren GmbH from Ragolds Invest GmbH on January 24, 2024. With the takeover, the hard candy portfolio will be expanded to include the Jahnke brand’s licorice specialties. In addition, production capacities at the Kaltenkirchen location will be significantly expanded.

The Transaction

With the takeover of Jahnke Süßwaren GmbH, which is known nationally for its licorice candies, the medium-sized BOETTGER Group is setting the course for a continuation of the successful growth path for its internationally oriented subsidiary Cavendish & Harvey Confectionery GmbH. The world market leader for premium fruit sweets is not only expanding its brand and product portfolio to include liquorice specialties, but is also gaining a second production facility in the immediate vicinity of its own location in Kaltenkirchen.
