Proventis Partners advised the sellers of F. Hunziker + Co AG

Zurich, January 8, 2024 – F. Hunziker + Co AG was sold to Amapharm GmbH as part of a succession plan.

The Transaction

F. Hunziker + Co AG, a third-generation Swiss family business, was sold to Amapharm GmbH as part of a succession plan. Amapharm GmbH knows F. Hunziker + Co AG from its long-standing collaboration and, together with the management of F. Hunziker + Co AG, will ensure a smooth integration into the Amapharm Group.

In recent years, F. Hunziker + Co AG has developed from a traditional supplier of sweets for the largest Swiss retailers into a specialized global provider of functional products such as dietary supplements, medical devices and over-the-counter medicines. Due to the increasing demand for dietary supplements and health-promoting preparations, Amapharm GmbH has decided to take over the long-standing strategic partner in January 2024.
