Proventis Partners advised EPPG

Landwirtschaftsverlag, based in Münster, Germany, has acquired the business of the LPV Media Group from the European Professional Publishing Group (EPPG), Munich. The transferred titles include Lebensmittel Praxis, Convenience Shop, both Neuwied, and Business:Handel, Berlin, as well as the trade information companies REGAL, Vienna, and Wydawnictwo Gospodarcze, Warsaw. Eckhard Lenz, who has successfully managed the LPV Media Group for 13 years, will remain Managing Director. With the new owner, he will further consolidate and expand the excellent position of the media and the associated, very successful event business.

With Lebensmittel Praxis, LPV Media has stood for more than 65 years for profound specialist information and a broad communications offering comprising print, online, competitions, congresses and seminars in the interests of the trade and the food industry.

Landwirtschaftsverlag Münster is one of the 100 largest media companies in Germany and employs around 600 people in Germany and abroad.
