Proventis Partners advised Fincallorca

Novasol A/S, the leading European specialist in vacation accommodation brokerage, has signed an agreement to acquire 100% of the shares in Fincallorca GmbH, a market-leading OTA for premium accommodation in Mallorca. By acquiring the undisputed Mallorcan market leader, Novasol and Awaze further expand their strong position in the ever-growing European travel market and also gain a foothold in Europe’s most popular destination: Mallorca. In addition, Fincallorca is an attractive addition to the PE-funded travel company as it offers significant cross-selling opportunities and creates operational synergies.

Fincallorca was founded in 2008 and has over 1,400 fincas, wills and vacation homes in its portfolio.

Awaze markets approximately 110,000 vacation rentals in 36 countries across Europe and operates brands such as Cottages.com, Hoseasons, James Villa and Landal.

In a transaction with complex ownership structure, regulatory and tax conditions and required reorganization and spin-off measures, Proventis Partners advised the shareholders of Fincallorca as exclusive transaction advisor.
