Proventis Partners advised OC Oerlikon

Oerlikon Balzers has signed the agreement to acquire the Swedish surface technology provider Primateria. The acquisition will expand and enhance Oerlikon Balzers’ pre- and post-processing technologies and increase its surface treatment portfolio. The acquisition is the next growth step for Oerlikon Balzers in the gear cutting tools market and will also improve the service offering to customers. The expanded service offering will be implemented first in Sweden and later globally.

The Swedish company Primateria is a specialist in pre- and post-treatment solutions for tool optimization.

OC Oerlikon is one of the world’s leading high-tech industrial groups with over 11,000 employees and more than CHF 2.5 billion in sales.
