Tritech Surface Technology supported by Proventis Partners on the sale to the Horn Group

January 15, 2020. Proventis Partners advised Tritech Oberflächentechnik GmbH, Solingen (“Tritech”), on its sale to Horn & Co. Group, Siegen (“Horn”). In the area of ​​surface technology, Tritech has a unique positioning through the combination of material and materials testing as well as wet analysis, which leads to a balanced service portfolio compared to volatile market developments in individual areas.

The Transaction

The sale took place as part of a succession plan with the aim of continuing the company; the former Tritech owner, Dipl.-Ing. Brigitte John, continues to work for the company. As the acquirer, the Horn Group is one of the market leaders in the field of refractory materials and has significantly strengthened its existing analytics division through this acquisition.
