Proventis Partners advised Origin Seal
PRESS RELEASE
Hamburg, 9 July 2026 – Origin Seal Group continues its European expansion with the acquisition of DISS-JAWA in Belgium and Germany
The Transaction
Origin Seal Group has acquired DISS-JAWA, a specialist in industrial sealing solutions with sites in Antwerp (Belgium) and Duisburg (Germany). The transaction is the fourth add-on acquisition completed since Abenex became a shareholder in September 2022.
With this acquisition, Origin Seal Group completes its technological offering, now covering the full spectrum of industrial sealing technologies, from flat to metallic sealing. DISS-JAWA primarily serves the chemicals sector, with strong expertise in recurring industrial maintenance (MRO) and project work. Its differentiated know-how in metallic sealing broadens Origin Seal’s product ranges.
Beyond technology, this transaction marks a major milestone in the Group’s buy-and-build strategy, with with its first establishment in Germany and the strengthening of its presence in Belgium. Antwerp, Europe’s leading chemical hub, and Oberhausen, the heart of the Ruhr—Germany’s largest industrial region, position the Group at the heart of its target markets. The management teams of both entities remain in place to ensure operational continuity and lead the integration within Origin Seal Group. Following the acquisition of Interseal in 2023 (France), Atlantic Joint in 2024 (France) and Polson-MBC Group earlier in 2026 (Netherlands), Origin Seal Group confirms the sustained pace of its M&A strategy and its ambition to build a leading European player in industrial sealing solutions.
Johan De Sloovere, Managing Director de DISS-JAWA declare: “We strongly believe that by bringing together the complementary activities of the companies within the Origin Seal group on the one hand and the DISS/JAWA group on the other, we are jointly building a strong international group based on product knowledge and customer service in the field of industrial seals and gaskets.”
Gilles Nauche, CEO of Origin Seal Group, comments: “With DISS-JAWA, we are taking a new step: we are entering two high-potential markets and completing our technical offering. This is exactly the logic we have been building for three years.”
Edouard Jeandey, Director of Abenex, adds: “We were convinced by the strategic fit of the two companies and the quality of the teams in place. This is the foundation on which we will build the next chapter with Origin Seal Group.”
Proventis Partners advises Origin Seal as exclusive M&A advisor on its expansion in Europe. The Proventis Partners transaction team comprised Jost Hartmann (Partner) and Christopher Craemer (Associate).
