Zurich, March 26, 2024 – H. Lüdi + Co AG has been acquired by Spectron Gas Control Systems GmbH as part of a succession plan.
The Transaction
H. Lüdi + Co AG, a Swiss family-owned business led by its third generation, has been sold to Spectron Gas Control Systems GmbH as part of a succession plan. The acquirer will work closely with the management of H. Lüdi + Co AG to ensure a smooth integration into Spectron Gas Control Systems GmbH, unlocking the joint growth potential. Since its inception, H. Lüdi + Co AG has evolved from a traditional precision engineering company into a specialized provider of smart laboratory solutions and highly precise gas control components. Due to increasing demand for both modular and flexible laboratory buildings, as well as precise components for the laser industry, Spectron Gas Control Systems GmbH decided to acquire the attractive business as of January 2024.
