Proventis Partners advises CF Holding AG in the process of finding a strategic partner for Christian Fischbacher Bed & Bath AG

Zurich, 22 January 2019 — Proventis Partners exclusively advised CF Holding AG (“Christian Fischbacher”) on the sale of a majority share in Christian Fischbacher Bed & Bath AG to Fremaux Delorme S.A. (“Fremaux Delorme”).

About the transaction

On January 22, 2019, the Fremaux Delorme Group, a global manufacturer of bed, bath and table linen, has signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in Christian Fischbacher Bed & Bath AG, a leading Swiss manufacturer of luxury home textiles.

The Bed Linen and Fabrics divisions of the Christian Fischbacher Group were already legally separated in October 2018 and are now two independent companies, which are managed separately. Christian Fischbacher Bed & Bath AG has now entered into a partnership with the Fremaux Delorme Group on January 7, thus creating the opportunity to significantly expand its international market position for its products for bed and bath.

“With the strong sales network of our partner, we want to expand our reach and market position in the USA and China”, says CEO Michael Fischbacher. All essential production steps, from design to the finished product, remain unchanged.

The participation in this Swiss brand with a renowned savoir-faire confirms the strategy of the Fremaux Delorme Group: to promote the international market for home textiles with strong brands and to improve the Group’s diverse brand portfolio. Christian Fischbacher will enter the portfolio of the Fremaux Delorme Group as an independent brand and the Fremaux Delorme Group will be able to further expand its market leadership in Europe through this acquisition.
