Succession planning for Econis AG
June 12, 2017 – Econis specializes in cloud and outsourcing services as well as IT solutions. The Dietikon-based company relies on Renaissance for its succession planning and to strengthen its capital base.
A year and a half ago, the management was rejuvenated with Toni Fuchs as CEO. Another important step has now been taken with the Renaissance investment foundation taking over the majority of the share capital and Toni Fuchs also taking a stake in the company. A new shareholder structure was thus created that guarantees the long-term direction of the company.
Hans Blindenbacher takes over the chairmanship of the board of directors and ensures the continuity and strategic development of Econis, in collaboration with Econis management.
“This solution enables us to consolidate and further expand the company’s market position as a Swiss IT service provider. New services in the areas of security and workplace management will make their contribution to this. I am convinced that the independence and stability of the new owners will meet customer expectations for the continuation of successful business relationships and Swissness,” says Toni Fuchs, Managing Director of Econis AG.
Xavier Paternot, who represents the Renaissance Investment Foundation on the Board of Directors: “As representatives of the pension funds invested in the Renaissance Investment Foundation, we are happy to secure the successor. As one of the leading Swiss providers of IT outsourcing services, Econis has built up a remarkable service portfolio. We like the excellent references and the dynamism and experience of the workforce.”
