Proventis Partners advised GEFERTEC

In order to open up new markets for its printing systems, GEFERTEC GmbH was able to win EMAG GmbH & Co. KG as a strategic investor.

GEFERTEC GmbH was founded in 2015 by Georg Fischer and Tobias Röhrich together with B.I.G.. GEFERTEC develops new methods for the production of metallic components that offer unique opportunities to designers, engineers and companies.

EMAG GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1867 in Bautzen as Eisengießerei und Maschinenfabrik AG. By introducing the world’s first vertical lathe with pick-up spindle in 1992, the EMAG Group set new standards and is now the world market leader for these machines.

Proventis Partners advised GEFERTEC GmbH on all stages of the transaction, in particular in preparing the process, approaching potential investors and negotiating with them. Due to the still relatively young market and the short history of GEFERTEC, the requirements for the entire process with regard to the equity story and the commercial negotiations with investors were high.
