Carbopress, a specialized Italian company operating in the field of carbon composite components for the automotive industry, has acquired the business of Gurit Hungary. Originally, Gurit planned to discontinue the automotive business.

Gurit Hungary is a leading Tier 1 automotive supplier to OEMs with Class A carbon fiber-based composite components. With a long history in the production of composites for the automotive industry, Gurit Hungary has established a strong position in the European market segment. The company offers full OEM support from conceptual part design and prototyping, through composite development and production, to the manufacture of Class A parts. Parts are manufactured with a high and increasing level of automation and using state-of-the-art materials.
