Proventis Partners advised​ LEONI AG​

LEONI AG, Nuremberg, a global provider of products and solutions for energy and data management in the automotive sector and other industries, has decided to transfer its majority stake to Adaptricity, a cloud-based Swiss company, as part of its strategic focus on the wiring system business Network analysis platform and premium provider of smart grid solutions. The sales process, supported by Proventis Partners as M&A advisor, was completed with the sale of 100% of the shares in Adaptricity. The buyer is the internationally operating Secure Meters Ltd. headquartered in Udaipur, Rajasthan, India. The acquirer comes from Proventis Partners’ Mergers Alliance network and was advised by Singhi Advisors (India). For Secure Meters, Adaptricity’s modular and cloud-based solution platform for distribution network operators represents an ideal strategic addition to its own product portfolio. Secure Meters is planning to invest in further expansion of the technology and to integrate Adaptricity’s products into its international sales activities. Adaptricity will operate as a wholly owned subsidiary of Secure Meters Group.

In addition to carrying out a structured sales process, the consulting services included the creation of marketing and transaction documents, identifying and approaching potential investors including management presentations as well as support in due diligence and negotiation of the transaction.
