Proventis Partners advised SABO-Maschinenfabrik
Proventis Partners advises SABO on its intended sale to LDROBOT
The Chinese technology group Shenzen LDROBOT Co. Ltd. acquires the German manufacturer of premium lawnmowers and ground care equipment SABO-Maschinenfabrik GmbH.
The transaction will enable SABO to further strengthen its existing capabilities while gaining access to additional technological expertise for its future development. The SABO brand will remain independent and continue its successful market positioning.
Founded in 2017, LDROBOT specializes in intelligent robotic systems, with core competencies in multimodal perception hardware, AI algorithms, and spatial perception technology. Through its ANTHBOT brand, LDROBOT has already gained extensive experience in robotic lawn care. Combining this expertise with SABO’s longstanding development know-how and application experience creates the foundation for new products, particularly in the rapidly growing market for autonomous lawn care.
“With LDROBOT, we are gaining a partner that opens up additional technological opportunities while respecting our identity as a brand. Together, we are creating the conditions to serve our customers even better in the future,” explains Lars Daniel, Managing Director of SABO.
The strategic focus of the future partnership will be on the rapidly growing market for autonomous and robotic lawn care.
Demand for intelligent green space maintenance solutions continues to grow worldwide. Through access to additional development resources and technology platforms, SABO will have the opportunity to develop its own innovative products in robotic mowing and autonomous lawn care and bring them to market under the SABO brand.
Lars Daniel continues: “I am very grateful to the Proventis team who navigated us with great dedication and anticipation through the past months and achieved an impressive result for SABO and the seller.”
Proventis Partners acted as exclusive M&A advisor to SABO throughout the entire process. The Proventis Partners project team consisted of Christoph Ulrich (Partner) and Leon Holtmann (Vice President).
Subject to customary closing conditions, completion of the transaction is expected by the end of 2026.
