Matti Rovamaa has more than 35 years of industrial and M&A experience in the packaging sector. He served as a Vice President and General Manager at WIPAK Group, a part of the Finnish Wihuri Group. He has conducted extensive and important transformation and expansion projects. An essential part of the tasks were global M&A projects and important commercial negotiations. Intercultural leadership experience – one of the most important success factors in a transaction – is the understanding of the parties involved: Matti has shown excellent performance in leading global organizations in a corporate environment but also to private equity ownership structures and has wide experience in the management of subsidiaries as a Director.

Matti Rovamaa is a globally active leader with strong roots – he is a Finnish citizen, married and speaks five languages ?. During his career he lived and worked in different countries. He holds a B.Sc. from the Helsinki School of Economics and Business Administration. In his spare time he draws energy from the time with his family and the grandchildren. He is an avid cyclist and golfer or driving snowmobile in Lapland.
