Proventis Partners advised the shareholders of anemos

Hamburg, May 18, 2026 – Proventis Partners advised the shareholders of anemos Gesellschaft für Umweltmeteorologie mbH on the sale to Vidia

The Transaction

anemos Gesellschaft für Umweltmeteorologie mbH, one of Germany’s leading meteorological service providers for the wind energy sector, is entering into a partnership with the private equity firm Vidia as part of a corporate succession plan. The company is headquartered in Reppenstedt.

The long-standing management team, consisting of Lasse Blanke, André Glücksmann, and Martin Schneider, will continue to lead anemos independently and drive its growth in the future. Founder Dr. Heinz-Theo Mengelkamp will now serve in an advisory capacity. Together, anemos and Vidia aim to expand the business, with a focus on digitalization, investments in capacity growth, and the expansion of the service offering for existing and new customers.

Following GEO-NET, anemos is the second energy and climate consulting specialist in the Vidia portfolio. Both companies will continue to be managed completely independently by their respective management teams and will retain their own brands, client relationships, and operational autonomy.

Proventis Partners acted as the exclusive advisor to the shareholders of anemos Gesellschaft für Umweltmeteorologie mbH during the entire M&A process. The transaction team of Proventis Partners consisted of Jost Hartmann (Partner) and Andre Tasch (Associate).
