Proventis Partners advised Saurer AG

Proventis Partners exclusively advised the textile machinery group Saurer Ltd on the sale of the production site in Oberviechtach, Bavaria. With the sale of the Oberviechtach site, Saurer Components is responding to the trend towards a market shift in the production of textile machinery to Asia. Saurer Components has therefore made a decision to hand over the Oberviechtach location to a new owner, who will specifically develop and expand the existing potential in the field of high-precision manufacturing and component assembly on the market.

After a detailed market analysis, Proventis Partners contacted over 150 companies who may need additional production capacity in Germany. The production site was sold to the center for precision components as an asset deal. The contracting parties have agreed on long-term supply contracts to secure the highly qualified jobs and to give the region growth prospects.
