Dr. Peter Nagler
Expertise
Peter has gained more than 30 years leadership experience in the chemicals industry, comprising global operational (P+L) responsibilities as well as worldwide innovation management functions. Among others, he has held the position of Chief Innovation Officer (CIO), and before, Regional President South America in Sao Paulo, Brazil, and President of Specialty and Fine Chemicals/Custom Manufacturing Business Units. During his industrial career, he has also managed several large and medium scale M&A activities and built up a Corporate Venture fund. Additionally, he spent four years in Singapore’s lead government research agency (A*STAR).
Engagement
He serves as CIO and advisor to A*STAR, the Advisory Board of Fraunhofer ISC (Würzburg), and as advisor to several chemical companies.
Passion
Combining global experiences both in business and innovation management, Peter enjoys creating value through strategic approaches to unusual partnerships. He enjoys time with his family, including two grown-up daughters, as well as hiking, ballroom dancing, and international traveling for new intercultural encounters.
